The pioneering London-based startup The Collective aims to use property with a new perspective, by creating places that reflect and respond to the evolving needs of people and the way they choose to live, especially in a big city like London. In May 2016, The Collective’s flagship co-living site opened in Old Oak. It’s the world’s largest purpose-built co-living scheme, aiming to regenerate West London’s Old Oak district. The Collective has built a 550-bed community-driven residential concept that will offer Londoners a completely new way of living.
The weekly rent of the units includes all utility bills, council tax, wifi, concierge services, 24/7 security, room cleans, and linen changes. The Old Oak co-living space provides an all-inclusive, hassle-free life set in attractive facilities for young professionals, such as a disco, launderette, gym, spa, cinema, rooftop terrace, games room, and themed dining rooms.
“Our Old Oak development is offering Londoners a fresh and innovative way of living – it’s also a much needed option in the context of the capital’s housing crisis. We are changing the way people can choose to live.”Reza Merchant, CEO of The Collective
The Old Oak co-living space can be reached in 20 minutes by tube from Oxford Circus and also features an on-site British restaurant the common, led by celebrated chef Ben Spalding.
